Job summary

Heating + Air Paramedics is seeking a skilled HVAC Installer/Technician to join our team. You will install, service, and repair HVAC systems in residential and light commercial properties, ensuring efficient and safe operation.

The ideal candidate has at least two years' experience in installation and service, with EPA refrigeration certification, and a proven ability to diagnose issues and communicate with customers. We offer a competitive hourly wage and benefits.

Qualifications

  • 2 years minimum experience as HVAC Installer (Split systems, package units, mini-splits).
  • 2 years minimum experience as HVAC Service Technician.
  • EPA certification for handling refrigerants.
  • Experience brazing and replacing coils, air handlers, condensers, compressors.
  • Physical stamina to lift and carry equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in HVAC service.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, package units, and mini-splits.
  • Perform system inspections and diagnostics to identify issues and malfunctions.
  • Replace or repair defective components, such as compressors, motors, thermostats, and filters.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting system components.
  • Evaluate energy-efficient and cost-effective HVAC upgrades and replacements.
  • Complete service reports, including documenting work performed and parts used.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and use PPE.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Communicate with clients and team to provide service updates and address questions.

Job Summary

As an HVAC Installer/Technician, you will play a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in residential and light commercial properties. You will ensure that HVAC systems are operating efficiently and effectively to maintain comfortable and healthy indoor environments. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, and servicing HVAC systems, strong technical skills, and a dedication to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
