Job summary

M.Air is seeking an experienced HVAC Installer to join our residential and light commercial team. You will install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related components, ensuring adherence to codes and manufacturer specs. You will coordinate with plumbing and electrical trades as needed and participate in an on-call rotation.

The role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and delivering a positive customer experience, with a focus on teamwork and ownership of the finished installation.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn HVAC installation practices.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, equipment manuals, plans, and technical instructions.
• GED or high school diploma or equivalent; Journeyman license is preferred.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, punctuality, and professional conduct.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record, if driving is required.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC equipment and related components per specs, codes, and company standards.
• Complete equipment change-outs, new construction installations, and system upgrades.
• Coordinate with other trades when needed and protect customer property during installation.
• Perform startup procedures, system checks, and commissioning per manufacturer requirements.
• Inspect workmanship for code compliance and quality, and document results.
