The FEZ Group, a division of Winterwood, Inc., is seeking qualified HVAC Installers to join our team in Lexington, KY. The HVAC Installer will perform skilled installation and alteration of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and related equipment, including routine maintenance as needed.

Formación

• Active HVAC Journeyman license in-state
• Minimum 2 years journeyman HVAC experience
• Knowledge of building codes for HVAC/refrigeration/boiler systems
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in demanding conditions
• Pre-employment drug test and background check required

Job DescriptionJob Description

The FEZ Group, a division of Winterwood, Inc., is seeking qualified HVAC Installers to join our team. The primary responsibility of the HVAC Installer is to perform skilled skilled installation, and alteration of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and related equipment and facilities. This position may perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing of equipment.

Travel Requirements:

Candidates must be willing to travel within Central Kentucky (75 mile radius). Home every day.

Position Details:

• Job Type:Full-time (40 hours per week)
• Work Schedule:7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday
• Compensation:$25.00-$38.00/hour (based on experience)

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Active HVAC Journeyman in the State work is performed.
• A minimum of two years of documented HVAC journeyman level operation, maintenance and repair experience.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable building codes, ordinances, and regulations set by state and local authorities related to HVAC, refrigeration, and boiler systems.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations and the proper methods of storing equipment, material, and supplies.
• Strong communication skills and self-motivated work ethic
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs. and work in physically demanding conditions.
• Must have valid driver's license.
• In-state travel required.
• Must pass all pre-employment testing including but not limited to drug testing and background screening.

Key Responsibilities:

• Modify and install HVAC equipment including refrigeration and air conditioning compressors, receivers, condensers, forced air converter units, pumps, automatic and hand valves, expansion valves and capillary tubes.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools, welder torch, vacuum pump, test equipment utilized in the trade and a motor vehicle; maintain equipment in effective and safe working condition; maintain parts and tool inventory.
• Maintain related records concerning time, labor and materials; maintain log of tasks performed and write reports as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
