Job summary

The Romanoff Group of Companies is seeking a qualified HVAC Installer to join our award-winning team in Columbus, Ohio. This full-time role focuses on installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems for residential and commercial projects within our multi-market footprint.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED is required.
Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems.
Valid driver's license.
Preferred: ability to read and comprehend written (English) material.
Preferred: completion of apprentice program or earlier technical program.
Proficient in MS Office Suite, Procore, and Fieldwire or similar software.

Responsibilities

Interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and configuration of systems.
Install and maintain trade specific equipment, systems, and other building infrastructure according to industry standards and codes.
Test HVAC systems for functionality, continuity, and compliance with safety and operational standards.
Inspect systems to ensure proper installation and troubleshoot issues when they are found.
Mentor apprentices and co-workers in safe practices, technical skills, and proper tool usage.
