Job summary

Dave Jones, LLC in Wisconsin is seeking an HVAC Installer to join our growing Commercial and Residential New Construction teams. You will install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings, ensuring code-compliant, high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVAC construction or in an HVAC apprenticeship.
• High school diploma/GED and a valid driver’s license.
• Comfortable with hand/power tools; able to follow instructions, multitask, and communicate clearly with field and office teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the install.
• Load/unload equipment, cut sheet metal, assemble components, and install ductwork, gas and condensate piping, and venting—safely and to code.
• Wire it right.
• Install and troubleshoot low-voltage controls and wiring to bring systems online smoothly.
• Read blueprints (pre-drawn or field-laid) and translate them into accurate, efficient layouts.
• Cut openings and protect structural integrity and jobsite safety.
• Stay two steps ahead and keep materials organized; communicate needs to prevent return trips.
• Lead when needed and train apprentices and fellow installers.

Compensation

What you’ll bring

• Experience: 2+ years of HVAC construction or currently in an HVAC apprenticeship.
• Credentials: High school diploma/GED and a valid driver’s license.
