Job summary

K Komfort Heating & Cooling is seeking an HVAC Installer for construction projects. You will install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in new builds, reading blueprints and coordinating with other trades to ensure safe, efficient installations.

Responsibilities include rough-in and finish work, refrigerant piping, wiring, and compliance with codes. A strong understanding of HVAC systems and a valid driver’s license are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification or apprenticeship in HVAC preferred.
• Proven experience as an HVAC installer or technician in a construction environment.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and functionality.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical plans, and specifications to determine layout, materials, and installation sequence.
• Perform rough-in work; lay out and install duct systems, vents, baths, returns, and line sets per design and codes.
• Finish work: set and mount air handlers, furnaces, condensers, HRVs/ERVs, thermostats, grilles, registers, and accessories; ensure proper airflow and operation.
• Install and connect refrigerant piping, condensate drains, and low-voltage/equipment wiring per diagrams and safety standards.
• Measure and determine ductwork and piping requirements; cut materials to size and assemble as necessary.
• Collaborate with project foreman and other trades for cohesive execution.
• Comply with safety standards and regulations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Ensure all installations meet safety and building code requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
