Job summary

The HVAC Installer is responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air‑conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high‑quality workmanship while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Install new HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and ventilation equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and manufacturer specifications
• Measure, cut, and assemble ductwork and piping
• Perform start‑ups, testing, and system commissioning to ensure proper operation
• Diagnose installation‑related issues and make necessary adjustments
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at job sites
• Communicate clearly with customers about installation processes and system operation
• Work collaboratively with team members and follow company procedures
• Complete installation documentation, job notes, and required forms

Qualifications

• HVAC installation experience (1–3 years preferred, but willing to train the right candidate)
• Basic understanding of electrical, refrigeration, and airflow principles
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
