Job summary

Polestar Plumbing, Heating & Cooling in Merriam, KS is hiring HVAC Install Assistants who are passionate about customer service, dependable, and eager to grow with us. You will support residential installations alongside Lead Installers and help ensure quality workmanship.

We offer pay ranging from $50,000 to $75,000+ per year, weekly pay, PTO, 401(k) matching, and medical/dental/vision benefits. Training is available and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience preferred, but training may be provided.
• Must have strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift equipment and work in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Installers with residential HVAC system installations.
• Help install ductwork, furnaces, air conditioners, and system components.
• Maintain clean and organized job sites.
• Load/unload equipment and materials.
• Support installation quality and efficiency; follow safety procedures and company standards.

Our Install Assistants are paid on a task pay/piece rate structure with earning potential based on experience, production, efficiency, and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Installers with residential HVAC system installations
• Help install ductwork, furnaces, air conditioners, and system components
• Maintain clean and organized job sites
• Load/unload equipment and materials

Requirements

• HVAC experience preferred, but willing to train motivated individuals
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

• Valid driver’s license preferred
