Job summary

Kelso Industries is seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join a fast-growing mechanical contracting team. The role covers rough-in to startup, with travel across TN, KY, NC, SC, AL, GA and a 1st shift schedule.

You will install refrigerant linesets, wire low voltage controls, and perform system startups for VRF and rooftop units while collaborating with project managers to meet installation timelines. EPA certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC installation experience (commercial preferred).
• Proficiency in copper brazing and pressure testing.
• Solid understanding of low voltage wiring and HVAC control systems.
• Experience with equipment startups and commissioning procedures.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and braze copper refrigerant linesets with precision and leak-free integrity
• Wire and terminate low voltage control systems (thermostats, sensors, controllers)
• Perform equipment startups for VRF systems, rooftop units, and split systems
• Collaborate with project managers and field supervisors to meet installation timelines
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and jobsite protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations and startup procedures
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation-related issues on-site
