Job summary

DEAR Services is seeking a hands-on HVAC Install Lead to install customized residential systems and engage clients on-site. You’ll work with a range of equipment, communicate clearly, and demonstrate craftsmanship.

We offer ongoing training, incentives for education, and opportunities to advance within a supportive team environment. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer locations are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience
• Knowledge of HVAC products and services
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel to customer locations as needed
• Comfortable operating in small spaces (crawl spaces/attics)
• Must provide own tools

Responsibilities

• Install and service residential HVAC systems as lead technician
• Communicate with customers to explain installations and options
• Coordinate with team and schedule to meet deadlines

Job description

As a HVAC Install Lead for DEAR Services, you will have the opportunity to work with your hands and have engaging conversations with clients doing installations. Work one-on-one with our residential HVAC clients to install customized solutions ranging from a variety of HVAC equipment that fit our clients' needs, wants, and budget while showing off your craftsmanship!

• Must have a proven track record of successful HVAC and duckwork installation
• 3+ years of Residential HVAC Installation Experience
• Knowledge of HVAC products and services
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to travel to customer locations as needed
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable with a variety of residential HVAC systems, hand/power tools, and trade knowledge
• Comfortable communicating with customers in all types of circumstances
• Positive attitude
• Hard working
• Must be reliable
• Must have a valid WA State driver’s license and a good driving record
• Must pass a background check
• Must provide own tools
• Must be comfortable operating in small spaces (ex. crawl spaces and attics)

Compensation

• $30 - $50 Hourly, depending on experience
