Primary Job Responsibilities

• Install HVAC Systems: Install heating, air conditioning, ventilation systems, and accessories according to company and manufacturer standards.
• Perform Ductwork and Fabrication Design: fabricate and install duct systems and fittings as required for each job.
• Execute System Start-Ups and Limited Diagnostics: Start up new systems and perform basic diagnostics to ensure functionality.
• Maintain Clean Work Areas: Use floor savers, drop cloths, and inspect the work area for cleanliness upon job completion.
• Complete Accurate Job Documentation: Fill out installation forms detailing tasks performed and materials used for records and quality tracking.
• Communicate with Customers: Address questions, concerns, and explain the installation process in a courteous and professional manner.
• Handle Equipment and Vehicle Responsibilities: Deliver and remove equipment, maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness, and ensure proper stocking and part returns.
• Train Apprentices: Instruct apprentices on proper installation practices, tools usage, system testing, wiring, and IAQ product setup.
• Follow Safety and Brand Standards: Wear approved uniform, follow safety policies, and adhere to One Hour’s standards of ethics and professionalism.
• Participate in Training: Attend all company-sponsored training sessions to stay current on techniques, safety practices, and system updates.
