Qualifications

WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL?

This is a full-time position. As an HVAC Installer, you will lead residential installation projects from start to finish. You will install and replace split systems, package units, air handlers, condensers, ductwork, and related equipment while overseeing an installation helper or crew. Throughout the day, you will read installation specifications, determine the materials and equipment needed for each project, and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company and code requirements. You will perform quality-control checks, start up and test newly installed systems, troubleshoot installation issues, and make any necessary adjustments to ensure proper operation. You will maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site, communicate professionally with homeowners, train and mentor junior installers and helpers, maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment, and follow all company safety procedures and standards.

HVAC INSTALLER REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of residential HVAC installation experience (preferred)
• Previous lead installer or leadership experience (strongly preferred)
• EPA Certification
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems and installation procedures
• Experience installing split systems, package units, and ductwork
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and airflow issues
• Ability to lead a crew and keep jobs moving efficiently
• Strong communication skills
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
