Job summary

Cara Staffing in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a Commercial HVAC Installer with 10+ years of experience to install and commission commercial HVAC systems, including VRF/VRV, piping, and ductwork. The role requires reading blueprints, coordinating with project managers, and ensuring compliance with NJ codes.

A valid driver's license and reliable transport are needed; EPA certification is preferred. You will work on-site with a team to deliver high-quality installations and safe, efficient systems

Qualifications

• 10+ years of HVAC installation experience.
• Proven experience installing VRF/VRV systems (Daikin, Mitsubishi, LG, Fujitsu, etc.).
• Strong experience with HVAC piping systems (refrigerant, gas, and drain lines).
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong experience with ductwork installation and fabrication.
• Knowledge of local NJ building codes and safety standards.
• EPA Certification (preferred).
• Valid driver''s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Install Commercial HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
• Fabricate, assemble, and install ductwork systems (sheet metal, flexible duct, etc.).
• Install and connect piping systems (refrigerant lines, condensate drains, gas piping as applicable).
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and job specifications.
• Ensure all installations comply with local codes and company standards.
• Test systems for proper operation and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site.
• Collaborate with team members, project managers, and customers as needed.
