Job summary

TRYG Group LLC in Lakewood, CO, seeks an HVAC Installer to join our field team. The role covers installation and commissioning of commercial to light industrial HVAC systems, including piping, ductwork, brazing, and startup support.

The position requires reading blueprints, working with project managers and engineers, and maintaining project logs. We offer a benefits package and a path for growth in a team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC degree or certification preferred.
• Universal EPA certification within 90 days of hire.
• Some construction/HVAC install experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 10–50 lbs; team lifts for heavier loads.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist installation and commissioning of commercial to light industrial HVAC systems.
• Install gas and refrigerant piping, ductwork and sheet metal.
• Brazing/soldering as required.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to plan executions.
• Troubleshoot during installation/startup and maintain logs.

Job description

HVAC Installer | $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Work Hours: Monday through Friday | 40 hours

Position Overview

• Assist in the installation and commissioning of Commercial to Light Industrial HVAC systems according to project specifications
• Installing gas pipe, refrigerant pipe, duct work/sheet metal, piping etc.
• Brazing / soldering
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to plan and execute HVAC installations
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during installation and startup phasesMaintain accurate documentation of project progress, including daily logs and reports
• Stay updated on HVAC technologies and best practices to enhance project execution

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in HVAC or related field preferred
• Universal EPA certification (upon hire/within 90 days of hire)
• Some construction and/or HVAC install experience desired
• Must have the ability to constantly lift or carry up to 10 lbs., frequently lift or carry 11-20 lbs., and occasionally lift or carry 21-50 lbs.
• Able to occasionally lift or carry 51-100 lbs. with a team lift
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in varied environmental conditions and at heights

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.

Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
