Job summary

Travis Crawford HVAC, Plumbing & Electrical is seeking an HVAC Installation Technician to join our Charlotte-area team. You will install split systems, heat pumps, furnaces, and related components, while maintaining clean job sites and ensuring code compliance. You’ll read scopes, order materials, and document installations accurately.

Qualifications

• Three years of residential HVAC installation experience
• Experience installing a variety of residential HVAC systems
• Working knowledge of airflow, electrical, refrigeration, venting, and controls
• EPA certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

Responsibilities

• Install split systems, heat pumps, gas furnaces, package units, mini-splits, and air handlers
• Install ductwork, zoning systems, thermostats, controls, and indoor air quality equipment
• Complete equipment changeouts, start-ups, testing, and commissioning
• Read job scopes and prepare materials, tools, and equipment
• Protect the customer’s home and maintain a clean work area
• Identify installation, code, safety, and performance concerns
• Communicate job progress and changes with customers, teammates, and management
• Complete accurate installation documentation
• Keep company vehicles, tools, and materials organized
• Follow company safety, quality, and refrigerant-handling standards
• Participate in ongoing technical and professional training

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Install split systems, heat pumps, gas furnaces, package units, mini-splits, and air handlers

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
