Job summary

Horne Heating and Air Conditioning is seeking an HVAC Installation Scoper to draft precise scopes and plans for each installation. The role coordinates with Installation Managers, Sales, Comfort Consultants, and Service teams to ensure accurate equipment lists and efficient project execution.

The successful candidate will leverage scoping documents, photos, and measurements to drive quality outcomes, while communicating plans to crews and driving continuous improvements in profitability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in Residential HVAC
• Excellent computer skills and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Team-player and professional phone skills
• Well-organized and able to work independently and remotely
• Experience with ServiceTitan, CompanyCam, and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work off hours during peak season (Apr 15 - Sept 15)
• Background check and pre-employment drug screening required

Responsibilities

• Provide concise scope of work and a detailed plan for each sold installation project.
• Use scoping documents, photos, and measurements to list equipment, materials, parts, tools, needed items.
• Maintain high-quality work through planning and clear communication with installation teams.
• Participate in the completed job review process to identify improvements and obstacles.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm based on seasonality, with occasional weekend support during peak season and an ad h

Pay Scale: $60,000-$70,000 salary exempt with a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for qualified candidates

The Installation Scoper will work closely with the Installation Manager, Sales Manager, Comfort Consultants, and Service Team to provide a concise scope of work and detailed plan for each sold installation project.

He or she will be required to utilize completed scoping documents, pictures, information, and measurements to provide a comprehensive list of equipment, materials, parts, tools, and other necessary items to complete the project.

He or she will maintain high-quality work for each project through concise and proper planning and instruction and communicate the plan to the installation teams.

The Scoper will be a part of the completed job review process to identify areas of improvement, callbacks/recalls, or other obstacles that could affect company performance and profitability.

Required Qualifications

• Available for regular, in-person, job & department-specific training
• 10+ years' experience in Residential HVAC
• Excellent computer skills and communication skills (verbal and written)
