Job summary

Folkes Home Services is seeking an HVAC Installation Manager (Residential) to lead installation teams and ensure projects meet safety, quality, and schedule standards. You will oversee field operations, coordinate crews, inspect workmanship, handle client communication, and ensure compliance with codes while optimizing cost and performance of HVAC systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on HVAC installation experience (supervisory or management role preferred).
• HVAC certification or formal training from a technical/trade school preferred; equivalent field experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and support installation teams and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely and to quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to evaluate workmanship and ensure conformity with codes and safety standards.
• Oversee project execution by managing labor, materials, and resources to meet deadlines and control costs.
• Serve as primary client contact, addressing concerns and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Develop and manage daily/weekly schedules for installation crews to ensure timely completion.
• Provide expert guidance on residential HVAC installations (central AC, furnaces, heat pumps, ductless systems).
• Supervise system startups, perform performance checks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance before completion.
• Ensure installations comply with national HVAC/electrical codes and local regulations; maintain safe work environment.
• Accurately complete documentation (job details, system specs, permits, reports).
• Use ServiceTitan or similar field service software to track progress and maintain records.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, manage, and support installation teams and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to company quality standards
• Conduct regular site inspections to evaluate workmanship, ensure adherence to installation procedures, and verify compliance with safety standards and building codes
• Oversee project execution by managing labor, materials, and resources to drive cost efficiency while meeting deadlines
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
• Develop and manage daily and weekly schedules for installation crews, coordinating workloads to ensure timely and efficient job completion
• Provide expert guidance on the installation of residential HVAC systems, including central air conditioning units, furnaces, heat pumps, and ductless mini-split systems
• Supervise system startups, perform performance checks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure all systems meet operational and company standards before completion
• Ensure all installations strictly adhere to national HVAC and electrical codes, as well as state and local regulations, maintaining a safe work environment at all times
• Accurately complete and review all required documentation, including job details, system specifications, permits, and compliance reports
• Utilize ServiceTitan or similar field service software to track job progress, manage workflows, and maintain accurate service and installation records

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years of hands-on HVAC installation experience (supervisory or management role highly preferred)
• HVAC certification or formal training from a technical or trade school preferred; equivalent field experience will be considered
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, coordinate multiple projects, and drive performance in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively engage customers and resolve issues professionally
• Highly organized with proven ability to manage schedules, materials, labor, and deadlines across multiple jobs
• Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems, installation best practices, troubleshooting methods, and system optimization
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Experience with ServiceTitan or similar trade management software is preferred

Compensation & Details

• Pay $100,000 - $120,000 annually (plus performance-based bonuses)
