Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in Commercial HVAC installation.
• Must be able to install HVAC and piping systems based on blueprints.
• Ability to rig equipment and perform soldering, brazing, and press fittings.
• Must pass pre-employment background and drug screen.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Install new HVAC and piping systems based on blueprints.
• Equipment rigging and safe handling of hand/power tools.
• Inspect for quality and coordinate with team to meet deadlines.
• Travel 5–20% for field projects in Carolinas, VA, and TN.
• Maintain safety and communicate clearly with the team.

Job Requirements

Minimum 5 years of work experience in a Commercial HVAC Installation.

Install New HVAC and Piping Systems Based on Blueprints.

Equipment rigging experience.

Soldering, Brazing, Grooving for clamp style piping systems, and Press fitting.

Measuring, cutting various pipe materials.

Exercise behavior that insures personal safety and the safety of coworkers.

Safely using hand and power tools.

Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, and work on rooftops.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Position requires a self-motivated problem solver that has the ability to work with minimal supervision in a team-orientated environment

Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check, driving record check, fit for duty, and drug screen.

Must have a valid state driver’s license.

Some travel is required – between 5% to 20% average and is mostly in Carolinas, Virginia, and Tennessee

EPA certification, duct installation, and OSHA 30 a plus.
