Job summary

Airco Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Ltd in Hull is seeking an experienced HVAC Installation Engineer to join our installations team. You will install air conditioning and refrigeration equipment including split, multi-split and VRV/VRF systems on client premises.

The role requires NVQ Level 2 refrigeration & air conditioning, F-Gas EN 378 compliance, and the ability to work unsupervised. You will travel as needed, build client relationships, and support junior engineers while maintaining

Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, F-Gas EN 378 compliant
Experience with VRV/VRF, Coldrooms, Close Control and Chilled water systems
Able to work unsupervised and manage site relationships
Good interpersonal skills to build client relationships
Electrical competence including wiring schematics and control circuits
Can-do attitude, deadline driven, works under pressure
Willingness to travel/stay away from home; full driving licence; DBS certificate

Responsibilities

Install air conditioning and refrigeration equipment including split and multi-split systems and VRV/VRF on client sites
Maintain high quality standards and ensure compliance with safety procedures
Communicate with stakeholders and complete all necessary paperwork
Work safely following internal health & safety processes and site requirements
Support development of junior and apprentice engineers
Review RAMS and manage risks and controls onsite
Perform onsite risk assessments before work and raise concerns to the project manager
