Job summary

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning of San Diego is hiring an HVAC Installation Coordinator to own residential installation jobs from the sold project through final inspection and closeout.

We need someone with technical HVAC experience who can verify equipment selections, order the right equipment and materials, keep crews prepared, and follow through with customers. You will work directly with our sales team, installers, suppliers, and ownership.

Qualifications

• Residential HVAC installation experience or technical HVAC coordination experience.
• Ability to read proposals, equipment specifications, and job documentation.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through across multiple active jobs.
• Clear communication with customers, installers, sales staff, and suppliers.
• Confidence taking ownership, resolving scheduling and material issues, and escalating decisions when needed.
• ServiceTitan experience preferred; comfort with purchasing, scheduling, and office software.

Responsibilities

• Review sold jobs, proposals, site information, and project requirements before scheduling or ordering.
• Verify equipment sizing, specifications, system compatibility, and required accessories against project requirements and supporting load calculations.
• Order HVAC equipment, parts, and installation materials; confirm model numbers, quantities, pricing, availability, and delivery dates.
• Coordinate deliveries and staging so installers have the equipment, materials, and job information they need before arriving on site.
• Manage shortages, backorders, substitutions, returns, credits, and warranty paperwork.
• Schedule installation crews, customers, and any required subcontractors; communicate changes and keep jobs moving.
• Coordinate required testing, inspections, and corrections through final approval.
• Keep customers informed about installation dates, preparation, progress, changes, and next steps.
• Maintain accurate job notes, purchase orders, schedules, documents, and follow-up tasks in ServiceTitan.
• Track incomplete work and punch-list items, coordinate follow-up visits, and verify documentation and customer follow-through before closing jobs.

PAY AND SCHEDULE

$30-$38 per hour, depending on experience. Full-time, on-site in San Diego, Monday-Friday, with an early start to prepare crews before dispatch.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Order HVAC equipment, parts, and installation materials; confirm model numbers, quantities, pricing, availability, and delivery dates.


• Coordinate deliveries and staging so installers have the equipment, materials, and job information they need before arriving on site.


• Manage shortages, backorders, substitutions, returns, credits, and warranty paperwork. Confirm technical suitability and approval before making substitutions.


• Schedule installation crews, customers, and any required subcontractors; communicate changes and keep jobs moving.


• Coordinate required testing, inspections, and corrections through final approval.


• Keep customers informed about installation dates, preparation, progress, changes, and next steps.


• Maintain accurate job notes, purchase orders, schedules, documents, and follow-up tasks in ServiceTitan.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Residential HVAC installation experience or technical HVAC coordination experience, including equipment sizing, selection, compatibility, and ordering.


• Ability to read proposals, equipment specifications, and job documentation and catch missing or incorrect information before installation.


• Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through across multiple active jobs.


• Clear communication with customers, installers, sales staff, and suppliers.


• Confidence taking ownership, resolving scheduling and material issues, and escalating decisions when needed.


• ServiceTitan experience preferred; comfort with purchasing, scheduling, and office software.
