Job summary

Tom Drexler Plumbing, Air & Electric is hiring for an HVAC installer in West Chester, OH. This full-time role offers a sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and a compensation range of $80,000–$150,000 based on experience, with growth potential.

You will install residential HVAC systems, mentor helpers, coordinate with teams, and ensure safety and quality on every project while upholding the Tom Drexler brand and culture.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Strong communication skills and customer service mindset.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Experience mentoring junior technicians preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential HVAC system installations with precision, professionalism, and safety.
• Remove old systems and install new ones following checklists and codes.
• Maintain communication with dispatch, manager, and installation teams.
• Ensure timely completion of paperwork and documentation.
• Mentor installation helpers on projects.
• Keep customers informed throughout the installation process.
• Maintain clean, professional job sites and organized truck inventory.
• Promote brand standards and company values.

What You’ll Do

• Perform residential HVAC system installations with precision, professionalism, and a focus on safety
• Remove old systems and install new ones, following installation checklists and HVAC codes.
• Maintain communication with dispatch, manager, parts, and installation teams
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all required paperwork
• Train and mentor installation helpers assigned to assist on projects
• Keep customers informed throughout the installation process, ensuring satisfaction and trust
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and safe, organized job sites
• Manage truck inventory and equipment for maximum efficiency
• Promote the Tom Drexler brand and uphold company standards

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and varying weather conditions

Preferred:

• Experience leading or mentoring junior HVAC technicians
• Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar software
