Job summary

Tom Drexler Plumbing, Air & Electric is seeking an experienced residential HVAC installer for our West Chester, OH team. You’ll install and replace systems, follow codes, and coordinate with dispatch and installation crews.

We offer competitive pay ($80,000–$150,000), a sign-on bonus up to $7,500, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, PTO, and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential HVAC system installations with precision and safety.
• Remove old systems and install new ones following codes and checklists.
• Maintain communication with dispatch, manager, parts, and install teams.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of paperwork.
• Train and mentor installation helpers on projects.
• Keep customers informed and ensure satisfaction throughout installation.

What You’ll Do

• Perform residential HVAC system installations with precision, professionalism, and a focus on safety
• Remove old systems and install new ones, following installation checklists and HVAC codes.
• Maintain communication with dispatch, manager, parts, and installation teams
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all required paperwork
• Train and mentor installation helpers assigned to assist on projects
• Keep customers informed throughout the installation process, ensuring satisfaction and trust
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and safe, organized job sites
• Manage truck inventory and equipment for maximum efficiency
• Promote the Tom Drexler brand and uphold company standards

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and varying weather conditions

Preferred:

• Experience leading or mentoring junior HVAC technicians
• Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar software
