Berkeys Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electrical is seeking an HVAC Install Lead to drive residential replacement projects from equipment removal through startup and final walkthrough. You will manage an Install Helper, ensure quality, and uphold Berkeys standards for safety and codes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience preferred
• Experience leading installation projects or directing an Install Helper preferred
• Knowledge of residential HVAC systems, installation procedures and commissioning
• Experience installing furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers, coils, condensers, thermostats
• Ability to diagnose installation-related issues and read wiring diagrams

Responsibilities

• Lead residential HVAC installation and replacement projects from start to finish
• Safely remove old equipment and protect customer property
• Install and commission furnaces, air handlers, coils, condensers, heat pumps and thermostats
• Install/modify ductwork, wiring, and controls; ensure proper airflow and balance
• Coach and develop an Install Helper or Apprentice; document job completions and customer acknowledgments
