Job summary

One Source Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical seeks a Lead Installer to lead a residential service HVAC installation team, overseeing installation projects, coordinating with clients, and ensuring quality and safety standards. This role focuses on installation, retrofit, and replacement of HVAC systems in residential properties.

The Lead Installer will supervise installers, interpret blueprints, advise on equipment selection, and mentor junior staff while maintaining thorough documentation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid HVAC license or certification.
• Experience as Residential Service HVAC Installer with lead/supervisory experience.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation methods.
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Residential Service HVAC Installers in installation, retrofitting, and replacement of HVAC systems in residential properties.
• Coordinate and oversee installation projects, ensuring quality, safety, and timelines.
• Interpret HVAC blueprints and technical drawings to plan installations.
• Collaborate with clients on equipment selection, design, and energy-efficient solutions.
• Conduct site assessments to evaluate existing systems and identify challenges.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other trades for project execution.
• Install, connect, and test HVAC components including air handlers, condensers, ducts, thermostats, and refrigerant lines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues; make necessary adjustments.
• Train and mentor junior installers on safety and best practices.
• Document installation activities and configurations.

About the Role: As a Lead Installer, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional HVAC installation services to our valued residential clients while leading a team of installers.

Lead Installer Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid HVAC installer license or certification.
• Proven experience as a Residential Service HVAC Installer, including lead or supervisory experience.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation methods.
• Strong understanding of HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC blueprints and technical drawings.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship and attention to detail.
• Proficient in using HVAC tools, equipment, and testing devices.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and resources.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
