ECM (East Coast Mechanical) in West Palm Beach, FL, seeks an HVAC Install Helper to support technicians on residential and light commercial projects. This entry-level role offers hands-on training and a path to long-term HVAC careers.

You will assist with installations, repairs, and maintenance; prepare job sites; load tools; help with ductwork; test and startup systems; and keep vehicles and equipment in good condition, all while representing Mid-Fla Heating & Air professionally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn HVAC.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, outdoors, in heat.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist HVAC technicians and installers with system installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Prepare and maintain job sites, ensuring safety standards and procedures.
• Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment for each project.
• Help with ductwork fabrication, assembly, and sealing.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and start-up of HVAC systems.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and work areas in clean and organized condition.
• Follow lead technicians and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Represent Mid-Fla Heating & Air with professionalism and customer service.
