What You’ll Do (Job Responsibilities)
- Assist with installing residential HVAC systems, furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps
- Install tank and tankless water heaters
- Work with experienced installers to complete ductwork improvements and retrofit projects
- Learn to use diagnostic equipment, tools, and HVAC system controls
- Help maintain equipment, tools, and vehicle inventory
- Participate in training, coaching, and daily team meetings
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
- Some experience in HVAC preferred, but not required
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn HVAC installation
- Experience in plumbing systems is preferred
- Strong communication & customer service skills
- Clean, professional appearance
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Must be able to stand, walk, and kneel for long periods throughout the day.
- The job requires regularly lifting and carrying heavy items, which can weigh up to 50 pounds or more.
- Must be comfortable and able to safely climb and work from ladders, scaffolding, or bucket trucks at various heights.
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and balance in awkward positions.
- Work is performed both indoors and outdoors and is not limited by weather conditions. May work in extreme temperatures, including heat, cold and humidity.
