Allen Service in the Denver area is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and light commercial HVAC systems while building strong customer relationships.

Applicants should have 2+ years of HVAC service experience, EPA Type II or Universal Certification, their own tools, a clean driving record, and a professional appearance.

• 2+ years of HVAC service experience (residential and light commercial).
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification required (NATE preferred).
• Your own tools, gauges, and multimeter are expected.
• A clean driving record and valid license are required.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude are essential.

Responsibilities

• Build strong customer relationships by understanding needs and expectations.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical components of HVAC equipment.
• Provide start-ups and troubleshooting for residential and light commercial systems.
• Explain replacement opportunities for aging or inefficient systems.
• Maintain clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck.
• Ensure accurate invoices and timecards.

• Compensation: $30-40/hr based on experience plus additional opportunities for compensation!

What You'll Do

• Build strong customer relationships by providing knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs and expectations.


• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential and light commercial air conditioning and multi-zone heating and cooling systems.


• Troubleshoot and repair all electrical and mechanical components of HVAC equipment.


• Provide start-ups and troubleshooting for residential and light commercial HVAC systems.


• Explain replacement opportunities for aging, inefficient or underperforming systems.


• Understand your service criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goals.


• Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck.


• Be accurate and timely with invoices, timecards, curbside feedback, and option sheets.


• Participate actively in all training exercises, continued education, morning meetings, trade shows and retreats.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of HVAC service experience (residential and light commercial).


• EPA Type II or Universal Certification (NATE preferred).


• Your own tools, gauges, and multimeter.


• A clean driving record and valid license.


• A professional appearance and positive attitude.

Physical Requirements and Work Location

• Must be able to navigate various job site environments, including climbing ladders, crawling into tight spaces (attics/crawlspaces), and maneuvering around HVAC equipment.


• Ability to frequently lift, carry, and manipulate tools and equipment weighing up to 50lbs and remain physically active for the duration of a shift.


• Ability to work comfortably in variable weather conditions , including extreme heat, cold, and inclement weather, while navigating unconditioned spaces like attics and crawlspaces.
