Job summary

Fresh Air, a family-owned HVAC company in Richmond, TX, is looking for a self-motivated installer helper to learn under senior technicians. You will be involved in residential and light commercial HVAC installation, assist with parts, tools, and deliveries, and work on-site with safety and company standards in mind.

We value hard-working individuals who are eager to learn, have HVAC experience or EPA certification, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• EPA Certification required.
• Experience with HVAC is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong customer service mindset and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced installers in residential and light commercial HVAC installation.
• Handle parts, tools, delivery, and on-site installation tasks.
• Operate hand and power tools; follow safety rules and manufacturer specs.
• Support installation of HVAC equipment per company standards.

What you will do:

• Work side-by-side the BEST installers in the industry!
• Receive hands-on-training in residential and light commercial HVAC installation
• Assist with parts, tools, delivery, installation at job site
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools, requiring dexterity and the ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Assist to install HVAC equipment according to safety requirements, company standards, and manufacturer specifications

Salary: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour + opportunity for commissions

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Potential for on-call for weekends
