Stephen K. Denny in Jupiter, FL is seeking an HVAC Install Apprentice to assist the Lead Installer with installations, staging, and site upkeep. This full-time role reports to the Install Manager and is based out of our growing Jupiter, FL office.

You will develop professionally through hands-on training, ongoing meetings, and opportunities for growth. The position requires 2+ years of HVAC experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills, with an emphasis on safety and OSHA

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the HVAC industry.
• Must have or be willing to get any proper certifications as needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Installer with all installations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Stage jobs properly by checking presence of all components and adhering to quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site and company vehicle.
• Participate in training and meetings to develop professionally.
• Complete and accurate paperwork.

About the Role

Stephen K. Denny is looking for an HVAC Install Apprentice to assist the Lead Installer in completing installations efficiently and accurately. This is a full-time role that will report into the Install Manager and be based out of our growing Jupiter, FL office.

What You’ll Do

• Assist Lead Installer with all installations, while being efficient and accurate
• Help with properly staging jobs by ensuring everything is present and adhering to quality standards
• Support maintaining a clean and organized job site and company vehicle
• Participate in training and meetings to develop professionally
• Complete and accurate paperwork
• Have or be willing to get any proper certifications as needed
• 2+ years of experience in the HVAC industry
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver’s license

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

• Must consider safety as one’s primary job and must have general knowledge of safe working practices and OSHA requirements
• To adequately perform the duties of this job, the team member is regularly and routinely required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, use hands to handle controls, hear, and talk
• Must be able to climb ladders, work in hot and cold environments, and work in small crawl spaces
• The ability to regularly lift and/or move 50+ lbs is required
• The work environment can vary depending on the season and scope of work – employees are required to work outdoors throughout the seasons
