Job summary

JOLLY ENTERPRISES INC in Wilder, KY is seeking an HVAC Install Apprentice to learn alongside experienced technicians and gain hands-on experience installing heating and cooling systems. This role offers growth into a skilled HVAC Installation Technician through training, hard work, and commitment to quality workmanship.

You’ll assist with installations, learn safety procedures, and work in residential settings, including attics and crawlspaces.

Responsibilities

• Assist HVAC Install Technicians with residential installations.
• Learn to install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and related equipment.
• Assist with removing old HVAC equipment and preparing homes for new installations.
• Follow proper installation procedures, safety practices, and manufacturer specifications.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Keep the jobsite clean, organized, and respectful of the customer’s home.
• Load, unload, and organize equipment, tools, and materials.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic installation issues.
• Communicate professionally with customers and teammates.
• Participate in training and development opportunities.
• Work toward becoming a skilled, independent HVAC Installation Technician.

Ready to build a career in the trades? As an HVAC Install Apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced Jolly craftsmen and learn the skills needed to install heating and cooling systems the right way.

This is an opportunity to get your hands dirty, learn a valuable trade, and grow into a skilled HVAC Installation Technician. You don’t have to know everything on day one—we’re looking for someone who is willing to learn, works hard, and takes pride in doing things the right way.

What You’ll Do

• Assist experienced HVAC Install Technicians with residential heating and cooling system installations

Qualifications: What We’re Looking For

• Previous HVAC experience is helpful, but not required
• Mechanical aptitude and an interest in how things work
• Willingness to learn from experienced technicians
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, basements, and other residential environments
• Comfortable working in hot, cold, and physically demanding conditions
• Ability to lift equipment and materials and perform physical labor throughout the day
• Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team
• Professional appearance and communication
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Commitment to safety and doing quality work
