Affordable Heating & Air, LLC is seeking an experienced HVAC Installer to perform commercial and residential installations in Sylacauga and surrounding areas. This role includes changeouts, remodels, and some new construction, with responsibility for ductwork, brazing copper pipe, and thermostat wiring.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in commercial installation, duct experience, and a valid driver's license. EPA universal and other certifications are desirable and training is provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in commercial installation.
• Duct installation experience.
• EPA universal certificate is desirable (training provided).
• Fall and Lift certifications desirable (training provided).
• Proficient in HVAC design and installation of ductwork systems.
• General knowledge of HVAC low voltage systems.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.

Responsabilités

• Install Commercial and Residential HVAC equipment.
• Perform changeouts, remodel work, and some new construction.
• Assemble/fabricate ductwork and hang units.
• Brazing copper pipe.
• Build platforms and set units.
• Wire thermostats.

HVAC Install: Commercial and residential installations

Pay: $23.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday through Friday | occasional overtime

Travel: Must be able to travel | home on the weekends | Out of town projects are a 3/12 work schedule + Per Diem

What You Will Be Doing:

• Installing Commercial and Residential HVAC equipment
• Changeout and Remodel work and some new construction
• Assembling / fabricating duct work and hanging
• Brazing copper pipe
• Building platforms, and setting units
• Wiring up thermostats
• Project are local and out of town

What We Are Looking For:

• 2 + years' experience in commercial installation
• Duct Installation experience
• EPA universal certificate - Desired, we train
• Fall and Lift Certifications - Desired, we will train
• Proficient in all HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems
• General knowledge in all HVAC low voltage systems
• High school diploma or equivalent / GED
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
