Job summary

Haddad Plumbing and Heating Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a HVAC Helper to join the team and support both plumbing and HVAC tasks on a variety of residential and commercial projects, with a focus on safety and reliability.

You will assist skilled mechanics with daily jobs, prep materials, organize the shop, maintain clean PPE, review training curricula, and contribute to on-time project completion while growing your skills.

Qualifications

• OSHA 10 or 30 certification is required.
• Strong organization and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Sound judgment and critical thinking; professional conduct.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, repair and maintenance of plumbing systems (drainage, waste, vent, gas, piping, fixtures, water heaters).
• Assist with installation, repair and maintenance of HVAC systems (boilers, furnaces, air conditioning, ductwork).
• Keep mechanics' vehicle organized, stocked with material and clean.
• Review and complete assigned training curriculum.
• Have hand tools as required by the company and wear PPE per guidelines.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the manager.

Job description

Haddad Plumbing and Heating Inc. is seeking a HVAC Helper to join our team. The HVAC Helper will support the HVAC department by preforming Plumbing and HVAC work and assisting Plumbing / HVAC mechanics with daily tasks and projects

Essential Functions

• Assist with the Installation, repair and maintenance of all plumbing systems including but not limited to drainage, waste, vent, gas and flue piping, fixtures, faucets, tub & shower valves and water heaters.
• Assist with the Installation, repair and maintenance of all HVAC systems including but not limited to hydronic boilers, steam boilers, hot air furnaces, air conditioning systems, piping, controls and ductwork.
• Keep the mechanics vehicle organized, stocked with material and clean.
• Review and complete assigned training curriculum.
• Have hand tools as required by the company.
• Wear PPE as established by the company guidelines
• Any other tasks as assigned manager

Compensation

Starts at $17 Hourly with no experience

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm and Saturdays as needed per job.
