Job summary

TDIndustries, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Foreman to supervise and coordinate installation, assembly, and repair of sheet metal systems in commercial and industrial projects in Colorado.

You will read blueprints, plan work packages, and guide crews to meet schedules while ensuring safety and quality. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction foremanship, solid knowledge of electrical/hydraulic systems, and the ability to interpret drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Residential/multifamily experience with some light commercial preferred.
• Proven experience as a Construction Foreman.
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines.
• Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Prepare material take-offs and generate isometric sketches from blueprints and specs.
• Plan work packages, oversee schedules, and optimize staffing based on equipment.
• Coach and coordinate craft workers; verify staff certifications when scheduling.
• Inspect work in progress and completed work for conformity to specs.

• Coordinate materials, tools, and inventory to support construction plans.
• Verify delivered materials match approved submittals.
• Identify conflicts or clarifications needed in contract documents.

Job Summary

As an HVAC Foreman you will supervise, coordinate, inspect and perform the assembly, installation and repair of components, subsystems and systems for the sheet metal trade during the construction, tenant finish-out or remodel of commercial buildings and industrial facilities.

Essential Duties

• Meticulously prepares material take-offs, designs intricate systems, and generates detailed isometric and schematic sketches from various technical documents such as blueprints, specifications, and job orders.
• Leads job planning for work packages, oversees construction/manufacturing schedules, assesses manpower requirements, and optimizes staffing levels based on equipment and tool expertise.
• Coaches, mentors, and provides guidance to the craft workers (sheet metal trade). Schedules and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers and operation of equipment and machinery. Verify all staff certifications when scheduling personnel on a project.
• Inspects work in progress and completed work to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Eliminates construction and job site hazards and performs required safety observations.
• Coordinates placement and storage of materials, tools and supplies to support the construction plan. Assists in maintaining assigned tool inventory.
• Verifies that delivered materials and equipment match approved submittals.
• As required, works with tools to meet construction schedules or other demands.
• Identifies conflicts or need for clarification in contract documents.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience

• Proven experience as a Construction Foreman
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines
• Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems

Salary Range for this role is $32-47/hour
