Job summary

Rheem Manufacturing Company seeks a Field Technical Support Representative to deliver commercial HVAC technical advice and training to distributors and dealers in the Northeast. This field-based role requires proximity to a major US airport for travel.

Responsibilities include escalation support, coaching technicians, site visits, and acting as a liaison among customers and internal teams. Associates degree and 5+ years HVAC experience are required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in technical field required.
• 5+ years direct HVAC or industry experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present training to large groups.
• Computer literate and able to operate standard business software.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, crawling, and climbing.
• Ability to travel roughly 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provide tier-one escalation support and diagnostic guidance for complex commercial HVAC and building control issues.
• Coach, mentor, and train customers and HVAC technicians on best practices, safety protocols, installation, troubleshooting, and new technologies.
• Conduct site visits to investigate product failures, manufacturing defects, and to aid in training for customers.
• Act as the technical liaison between customers, contractors, and internal teams to resolve issues in the field.
• Perform other duties as required.
