Job summary

Tactica Solutions LLC is seeking an HVAC Technician to provide field-level expertise for mechanical infrastructure planning and maintenance at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii. You will collect accurate equipment-condition data to support reliable lifecycle, repair, and replacement decisions.

You will serve as the tactical SME for HVAC, perform detailed assessments, align maintenance with lifecycle strategies, and analyze failures to support repair-versus-replace decisions.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification from a US-accredited institution.
• Minimum 3 years of military facility/infrastructure experience.
• Minimum 5 years of HVAC experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the tactical SME for HVAC, refrigeration, and plant equipment.
• Perform detailed equipment-condition assessments and validate asset health.
• Align daily operations and preventive maintenance with lifecycle strategies.
• Analyze failing equipment and provide repair-versus-replace recommendations.
• Support lifecycle cost decisions for high-value mechanical assets.
• Collaborate across flights to coordinate utility infrastructure projects.
