Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an HVAC Technician 2 in Ammendale, MD to deliver, install and service portable HVAC equipment. The role requires 3–5 years of HVAC experience, basic math skills, and a valid driver’s license. HVAC certification is preferred, with after-hours and weekend availability as needed.

You will train customers on safe operation, maintain accurate equipment records, and handle paperwork for deliveries and service calls.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of formal HVAC experience/training.
• Must possess basic math skills.
• HVAC Certificate preferred; state-licensed ability to work on refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and installs rented HVAC equipment; trains operator on safe use.
• Communicates professionally with customers, managers and sales engineers for deliveries and service calls.
• Troubleshoots and understands operation, function, and controls of rental equipment.
