Job summary

Oasis IAM is seeking an HVAC Technician in Ocoee, FL to perform hands-on installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of commercial HVAC systems across multiple facilities. Role involves diagnosing failures, handling refrigerants, and coordinating with vendors for complex repairs.

Expect rooftop and ground-mounted units, after-hours emergencies, and mandatory on-call with overtime. Requires EPA 608, OSHA 10/30, and HVAC trade certification; Florida driver’s license; travel

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and equipment.
• Understanding of refrigeration cycles, refrigerants, pressures, electrical components, controls, and mechanical HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of proper refrigerant recovery, handling, and documentation procedures.
• Familiarity with rooftop units, ground-mounted units, air handlers, exhaust systems, thermostats, motors, compressors, and related components.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of commercial HVAC systems.
• Diagnose HVAC equipment failures and determine repairs or replacement of components.
• Work on rooftop and ground-mounted HVAC units throughout facilities.
• Recover, handle, and manage refrigerants using proper equipment and procedures.
• Install, repair, and replace HVAC components including compressors, motors, fans, and controls.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues related to HVAC equipment.
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and refrigerant documentation.
