Job summary

LB&B Associates Inc. is seeking an HVAC Mechanic for Davenport, IA. The role requires at least five years in large commercial HVAC, with the ability to service boilers, chillers, air handlers, and related systems. EPA/CFC certification is required.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with occasional after-hours calls. A high school diploma or GED is required, and knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems is essential.

Qualifications

• HVAC Mechanic with at least 5 years' experience on large commercial HVAC equipment.
• Must be able to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers, chillers, hot water systems, and related components.
• Capable of maintaining electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
• Universal EPA or CFC certification required.
• Technical HVAC training is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers, chillers, hot water systems, and related HVAC equipment.
• Maintain air handlers, VAV components, and related systems and equipment.
• Operate and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Follow safety protocols and work orders to ensure reliable facilities operation.

LB&B Associates Inc. is currently accepting applications for a qualified HVAC Mechanic to support its contract to provide mechanical operations and maintenance services in Davenport, IA.

Working Schedule: Monday through Friday / 8am-5pm with limited call-ins after hours.

HVAC Mechanic must have a minimum of five (5) years experience working on large commercial heating and air conditioning equipment. HVAC Mechanic must be competent to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers, chillers, hot water heating systems, domestic water plumbing systems, air handlers, VAV components, and other various HVAC equipment and building systems. Candidates must also have general maintenance knowledge on how to operate and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

• High School Diploma or G.E.D is required.
• Universal EPA or CFC certification is required.
• Technical training in HVAC is highly desired.
