Job summary

JLL is seeking a General Maintenance Mechanic in Oxnard, CA. The role involves maintaining lighting, assisting with preventative maintenance, and performing various facility tasks to ensure comfortable, safe occupancy.

You will handle equipment inspections, power tool use, and light electrical/plumbing duties while coordinating with the Regional Operations Manager. The position requires a valid driver’s license, 1 year of relevant experience, and the ability to lift 50 lbs; MEWP certification is

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver’s license and be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Minimum 1 year of building repair and maintenance experience, basic plumbing and electrical.
• Ability to use ladders up to 14 ft and operate MEWP certification preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lighting systems, bulbs, LED drivers and ballasts.
• Assist in preventative maintenance of building and equipment.
• Perform tasks such as filter changes, coil cleaning and drainage maintenance.
• Operate scissor lifts and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Move office furniture and equipment; document work and materials.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure compliance with safety rules.
