HVAC Estimator/Repair Proposal Specialist (Plumbing/Electrical)

Job Summary

Generates quotes and proposals for customers based on technician and service manager recommendations, in alignment with our business guidelines. Manages and coordinates customer orders with dispatch and operations to ensure timely service and execution. Troubleshoots and resolves customer complaints.

Essential Duties

1. Delivers exceptional service while handling customer-approved quotes and requests. Communicates effectively to meet immediate and long-term customer needs.
2. Gathers data and costs for proposals and enters information into Dynamics 365. Collaborates with sales and operations to create accurate estimates and work scopes.
3. Delivers proposals within business requirements and proactively communicates with customers via email, phone, or portals to build relationships and generate additional revenue.
4. Manages and maintains unscheduled or incomplete work orders to ensure timely execution based on customer and work order requirements.
5. Maintains an accurate pipeline in accordance with business standards.
6. Ensures existing costs are allocated appropriately based on current work orders.
7. Assists in reviewing processes and procedures to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of experience with a commercial mechanical services provider
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
