Job summary

United Rentals in Chico, CA seeks a Climate Solutions Equipment Associate in the Power/HVAC division. You will perform jobsite installations and minor repairs on HVAC and dehumidification/air purification equipment, and operate a delivery vehicle safely.

You’ll report conditions, demonstrate equipment to customers, assist with loading/unloading, and support continuous service. This role is Safety Sensitive and requires a high school diploma, basic HVAC knowledge, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge with repairing and maintaining HVAC equipment preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of common tools.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork; strong communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 45 lbs and be on an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Minor repairs, maintenance checks and the cleaning of equipment.
• Report equipment condition before and after usage.
• Demonstrate equipment for customers.
• Assist with loading and unloading of equipment.
• Other duties as needed.
