Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a Climate Solutions Equipment Associate in the Power/HVAC division. You will install HVAC and dehumidification equipment at customer locations and perform minor repairs while safely operating a delivery vehicle.

You will bring mechanical aptitude, customer service, and teamwork to a safety-conscious environment with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge with repairing and maintaining HVAC equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with common tools.
• Strong customer service and teamwork abilities.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
• Willingness to be on an on-call rotation for 24/7 emergency service.

Responsibilities

• Minor repairs and maintenance checks on equipment.
• Report equipment condition before and after usage.
• Demonstrate equipment for customers.
• Assist with loading and unloading of equipment.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
