Job summary

Trane Technologies in Carrollton, Texas is hiring an Equipment Project Manager to oversee HVAC equipment projects, accountable for scope, schedule, and budget from initiation to completion.

You will coordinate with building owners, mechanical contractors, and field support staff; monitor costs and forecast accuracy; enter orders and issue work orders for equipment start-ups; and drive on-time delivery while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of project management, equipment, HVAC or related experience, or 4+ years with equivalent qualifications.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and temperature equipment preferred.
• Strong communication and proactive, independent work style.
• Able to prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage HVAC equipment projects, establishing schedules and parameters.
• Communicate with customers, building owners, contractors, and field staff.
• Maintain customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and taking corrective action.
• Monitor forecasted cost to completion and manage project budget.
• Enter equipment orders and generate work orders for start-ups.
• Oversee cash-flow management including progress billing and collections.
