Job summary

Air Distribution Limited is seeking a Product Engineering Manager - Equipment to lead the engineering team responsible for ADS ventilation equipment lines such as VAV boxes, FPTU, FCU, and BCU. You will own ECP, drive cost reductions, and guide DFMA for manufacturability.

You’ll build a high-performing team, partner with manufacturing, quality, sales, and operations, and steer projects from concept to launch through a Phase Gate process while fostering talent across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• 10 years of engineering experience, preferably in HVAC.
• Proven managerial experience developing talent and coaching engineers.
• Working knowledge of Engineering Change Process (ECP).
• Experience with Phase Gate controlled new product development.
• Technical knowledge of blower selection and applications.
• Understanding of water- and electric-coil heat transfer principles.
• Sheet metal design with manufacturability focus.
• Excellent communication across disciplines, from CEO to factory floor.
• Six Sigma, Lean, or related process-improvement certification.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the Engineering Change Process for assigned product lines.
• Lead cost-reduction and value-engineering initiatives.
• Apply DFMA principles to improve manufacturability and lower cost.
• Support sustaining engineering and reliability improvements.
• Lead cross-functional New Product Development through Phase Gate.
• Develop engineering talent and coach senior team members.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, sales, and leadership.
