Qualifications

• Evidence of training or experience sufficient to perform the duties of this position.
• Applicants will be evaluated by the OPM Qualification Standards.
• Qualified applicants will be screened for the required abilities and knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Calculate the airflow and the pressure-temperature characteristics for different systems.
• Locate and repair faulty equipment swiftly to reduce inoperative time.
• Identify faulty equipment causes and perform repairs on large air conditioning systems.
• Perform complex repairs such as installing and fitting connecting rods, crankshafts, piston rings, bearings and bushings.
• Overhaul valves by adjusting or replacing gaskets, springs, diaphragms, seals and couplings.
• Work schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.
