Job summary

United Rentals, the world's largest equipment rental provider, seeks a Climate Solutions Equipment Associate in its Power/HVAC division. You will install HVAC and dehumidification equipment at customer sites, perform minor repairs, operate the delivery vehicle safely, and support loading/unloading of gear.

Working to maintain high safety and service standards, you will report equipment condition and demonstrate equipment, with opportunities to grow toward higher tech roles within the company.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge with repairing and maintaining HVAC equipment preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tools applicable to position.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Willingness to be on an on-call rotation for 24/7 emergency service.

Responsibilities

• Minor repairs, maintenance checks and the cleaning of equipment.
• Report equipment condition before and after usage.
• Demonstrate equipment for customers.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
