Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a Climate Solutions Equipment Associate in the Power/HVAC division. You will install HVAC and dehumidification/air purification equipment at customer sites, perform minor repairs, and operate delivery vehicles safely.

You’ll work in a dynamic team, handling installations and basic maintenance while supporting on-call emergency needs and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge with repairing and maintaining HVAC equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude including knowledge of tools applicable to position.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Willingness to be on an “on call” rotation for 24/7 emergency service.

Responsibilities

• Minor repairs, maintenance checks and the cleaning of equipment
• Report equipment condition before and after usage
• Demonstrate equipment for customers
• Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment
• Other duties assigned as needed
