You will design HVAC layouts under mentorship, assist in equipment selection and system layouts, support estimate packages, and contribute to commissioning and start-up planning, while gaining energy-efficiency insights with our engineering team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering program.
• Must be comfortable working in MS Office programs and passionate about deepening knowledge of mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Learn to prepare detailed layouts for HVAC projects under the mentorship of an experienced engineer.
• Observe and support a seasoned engineer in providing oversight of HVAC system layouts and equipment selections.
• Provide information to the estimating team relative to bid packages.
• Participate in the review process for HVAC specification development and layout control strategies.
• Contribute engineering input into the operations plans for system commissioning and start-up.
• Collaborate with owners and project managers to provide energy efficiency advice and assistance.

How you will contribute:

As an Intern within the Engineering team, you will learn how to prepare detailed layouts for various HVAC projects under the mentorship of an experienced engineer.
