Job summary

You will work within CBRE’s Engineering and Technical Services framework, collaborating with facilities teams to ensure continuous operations and optimal performance of critical campus infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, adjust, service and maintain electrical, steam, and chilled water HVAC/R systems and equipment, calibrating related instruments and control components.
• Inspect and perform ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with codes and safety.
• Fix equipment failures and determine best actions for modifications.
• Mentor others and share in-depth knowledge across the function.
• Lead by example in line with CBRE RISE values and build consensus for decisions.
• Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within teams.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies.
• Work with BMS to supervise, adjust, and tacle building systems.
• Diagnose and repair self-contained refrigeration equipment such as 4°C, -20°C, and -80°C units.

As a CBRE HVAC Engineer, this job will support a Medical Campus in Texarkana, TX that requires an expert commercial HVAC technician to perform maintenance, repair, and installation tasks on building systems, equipment, and instruments.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems

What You'll Do

• Install, repair, adjust, service and maintain electrical, steam, and chilled water systems used for building HVAC/R systems and equipment, including calibration of related instruments, gauges, and control components.

• Inspect and conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure accurate operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.

• Fix equipment failures and identify the best course of action for equipment modifications.

• Mentor others and share in-depth knowledge of own job subject area and broad knowledge of several job fields within the function.

• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.

• Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams.

• Work within broad guidelines and policies.

• Work with BMS routinely to supervise, adjust, and tackle building.
