Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks a Commercial HVAC Engineer to support a Medical Campus in Longview, TX. You will perform maintenance, repair, and installation tasks on building systems, equipment, and instruments to keep facilities running smoothly.

You will work within the Engineering and Technical Services group, provide preventive maintenance, and share expertise with colleagues while ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing HVAC/R systems on commercial facilities.
• Ability to calibrate instruments and control components for HVAC equipment.
• Knowledge of safety codes and proper maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, adjust, service and maintain electrical, steam, and chilled water systems for HVAC/R and related instruments.
• Inspect building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with codes and safety.
• Diagnose equipment failures and determine best action for modifications.
• Mentor others and share knowledge within the team and function.
• Lead by example consistent with CBRE values and drive consensus.
• Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within the team.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies.
• Work with building management systems to supervise and tackle building operations.
• Diagnose and repair self-contained refrigeration equipment such as 4°C, -20°C, and -80°C units.

As a CBRE HVAC Engineer, this job will support a Medical Campus in Longview, TX that requires an expert commercial HVAC technician to perform maintenance, repair, and installation tasks on building systems, equipment, and instruments.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems

What You’ll Do

• Install, repair, adjust, service and maintain electrical, steam, and chilled water systems used for building HVAC/R systems and equipment, including calibration of related instruments, gauges, and control components.
• Inspect and conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure accurate operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.
• Fix equipment failures and identify the best course of action for equipment modifications.
• Mentor others and share in-depth knowledge of own job subject area and broad knowledge of several job fields within the function.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
• Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies.
• Work with BMS routinely to supervise, adjust, and tackle building.
